11/07/06 - Steven Tyler Sympathizes with Paul McCartney
Steven Tyler has now joined Rod Stewart in sympathizing with the former Beatle and his divorce. Tyler says
that McCartney is "getting the raw end of things with Heather Mills." The Aerosmith vocalist told a
UK newspaper that he was in the same predicament when his wife Teresa left him during the past year.
Tyler commented, "I was talking to Paul McCartney's guitarist the other day about this s**t he's going through with his wife. All they did was fall in love and look what she's turned into? I just went through the same thing and my ex took all my liquid. How long was he with Linda? Thirty years, so what does that say?
This woman must be a tyrant who wants the millions, and they've only been married for a few years."
Tyler also shared that his wife left him while he was being treated with interferon, for Hepatitis C, which is known
to have terrible side effects. "It was a very hard thing to go through
and it about killed me. Half of the people that go on it stop because
they can't handle it. I couldn't sleep and I woke up in pools of sweat. I couldn't even take my son to school --
it was tough."
