10/27/06 - LOLLAPALOOZA and Gets Lease Through 2011 at Chicago's Grant Park
Perry Farrell will be able to host his Lollapalooza Festival at Grant Park through 2011. Festival producers, Capital Sports & Entertainment (CSE) and Charles Attal Presents will also still be able to partner
with the Parkways Foundation, the fundraising arm of the Chicago Park District. And why wouldn't they? The partnership raised more than $925,000 in 2006. "The philosophy we cultivate is an inclusive, collaborative one, where citizens and government share the experience," Charlie Jones, executive producer at CSE, said in a statement. "The event has to be something the public supports and champions -- not just a road show."
The 2007 Lollapalooza Event will take place August 3rd through 5th.
