10/26/06 - ADAM BOMB Truly Living the Life of an International Rock Star
Following his German tour, our old friend, Adam Bomb shows no signs of slowing down. In a post on his MySpace Blog, Bomb describes his recent adventures, solo dates and generally busy schedule. The blog reads: After every tour ends, something else begins. I went to Monaco and stayed in the Hotel De Paris next to the Grand Casino in Monte Carlo. The roulette dealers remembered me from when I visited the casino in February 2005 on a day off on the Hanoi Rocks Tour between the shows in Barcelona and Rome. They hit my numbers & I signed some cds for them. The were eager to hear Je Taime Bebe as they speak French in Monaco.

After I dropped off my wife who came to last show in Torino from New York City, at the Nice airport, I drove 1400 km in a day to get to Spain because I have an acoustic gig in Gramonal tommorow, Villediego on Friday, & Burgos on Staurday. On the way I stopped Cannes and went to the beach (and the casino), and I did my laundry in San Tropez (and went to the casino), and drove like fuck along the south coast of France to Marseille, and over the mountains into Spain. Im now in Madrid at my favorite shop in the world, A Pleno Pulmon, visiting my good friends Ruso & Jesus (it's a common name in Spain).

I'll have another day to drive up to Belgique (with an obligatory stop in Holland) for an acoustic show on Monday then its back to Amsterdam to return the 3rd car I've had on the tour. Number 2 got a blowout in Torino on the last day of the tour and the genius at Avis in Mastrich, Holland had given me a car without a spare tire. They exchanged it in Torino for a better, bigger & faster diesel car with French plates. Good for avoiding the French Zoll.

On Halloween, my tour manager Rossi will collect me in Amsterdam when I take back the car & we're taking the ferry to Hull. Then I`m going Vigilante USA and playing guitar for Sigue Sigue Sputnik with Martin Degville. Were gonna do 5 gigs including London and Gottenburg, Sweden. Were gonna fly there. I think by then Ill be sick of driving.
