10/06/06 - IRON MAIDEN Announce New Single
Iron Maiden began their American leg of their A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH world tour today and with the kick off, came the
announcement that "Different World" would be the next single to be released as a special souvenir in Europe
along with exclusive new B sides which were recorded at the end of the album session at Sarm West Studios in London.
Here in the states, November 14th will mark the first time ever that Iron Maiden will release a commercial single. The
American B sides will include Radio 1 Zane Lowe's Legends Session of 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' and 'The Trooper', which
were used as B sides to 'the Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg' which was released in Europe in August and
although it was not eligible for the UK chart it reached No 1 in Spain, Sweden, Finland and Hungary. A
stunning promotional video directed by Howard Greenhalgh full will accompany the single.
