Genesis are set for a comeback tour next year, though it will be without key member Peter Gabriel. Gabriel's schedule has him booked up until 2008, but his former bandmates - Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks - are keen to hit the road again in 2007.

British newspaper the Sunday Mirror has confirmed that the three members will reunite for an extensive tour of Europe, the UK and the US, describing it as a "money-spinning tour". The paper reported that Phil Collins in particular is keen to get things happening again, after he split from his third wife - Swiss-born Orianne Cevey - in March after seven years of marriage. A source told the paper, "Genesis were huge in Britain and America and there remains a huge amount of affection for them. And the tour is likely to make them millions."
