SAW II

SAW II

HALLOWEEN has come and gone. I did not eat a lot of candy. Big surprise, as I usually buy two bags for the trick or treaters and then eat most of it before sundown. So, I end up turning out the lights and pretending that I'm not home. I just didn't buy any candy this year. I didn't feel it, ya know? However, I did watch HORROR films 'cuz I gotta earn a living. Okay, I admit it, I had a candy bar. Maybe two. But I did not eat two whole bags of candy, so give me a break. Progress rather than perfection, right? Okay, here goes MITZI'S HALLOWEEN SPECIAL #2. Enjoy, you spooky babes!

So, it has taken me an entire year to muster the courage to watch SAW 2. The first one was so scary, every time I thought 'bout getting it, a creepy chill would run up my spine. I know that SAW 5 just came out and that I am way behind, but give a girl a break. This is really hard stuff to watch, which is why I think it is so good. We are so de-sensitized to violence these days that it takes someone really smart to horrify us. SAW was the best HORROR film I had seen in years. SAW 2, not as good, but still worth seeing. The story is complex enough to keep you interested and the way people are killed is still entertaining. It lost its edge in the making of a sequel, but of course that's gonna happen. The scene where the woman falls into a vat of….well, I ain't gonna tell you. That would be ruining some of the fun. So, Jigsaw is back and we get to see a bit more of who he is. DONNIE WAHLBERG is a detective, trying to save his son. So, if you liked SAW, then you'll probably like this. If you have not seen the original, well, check that one out first. It is cooler.

Horrifyingly yours,

Mitzi
