LOVE HAPPENS
- Mitzi J. Johnson

Movie Trailer

Hello, friends! Let's hear it for spring. Bye! Bye! Winter...so, glad it is over. I really, really like flowers and warm weather. I love to sit in the sun...I always wear sunscreen and a hat...sad, that one of my greatest pleasures is so bad for my skin. This next fim was shot in one of my fave cities of all-time. Think...Rain...NIRVANA...JIMI HENDRIX...and of course, STARBUCKS. A girl has gotta have her carmel frapps.

This movie was filmed in Seattle, Wa, and frankly, that is the best thing about this film. Seattle is such a beautiful city and it looks fab on camera. JENNIFER ANISTON's wardrobe is the second best thing about this film...after that, hmmm, well...no comment.

AARON ECKHART plays Burke Ryan, a self-help guru and he has some probs like most self-help gurus. JENNIFER ANISTON plays ELOISE, the owner of a flower store. They meet and date and fall in love and blah, blah, blah. BORING!!!!!!!! Except for the two reasons above... this movie was LAME. I am a bit surprised that both of these actors signed on to do a film that was so bland, dull, stupid and well, you get my drift. Maybe it was that they got a chance to work in Seattle. Dunno.

MARTIN SHEEN and FRANCES CONROY are wasted in this. There were moments that I wanted to cry for all the money that was wasted on bringing this film to life. The script, I think was the root of all the troubles. The trailer made it look interesting...and maybe that was where they should have stopped. A full-length feature was just way too much. Some of the lines were just dumb. The script was also predictable. I did not laugh once nor did I cry. The only thing that made me feel anything was one of Ms. Aniston's hats.

But hey, Seattle looked great...and I loved some of Ms. Aniston's clothes and of course, her hair always looks great. So, I guess it wasn't a total loss.

That's all folks!
