DON'T LOOK NOW
- Mitzi J. Johnson

Aloha! I'm writing from MAUI where I am hanging out with MATTHEW FOX, from LOST. We like having virgin PINA COLADAS on the beach at sunset. I look fab in my new bikini. He is tan. I know he's married, but WHATEVER!! A girl can dream can't she? Who was it that said, "Ah, but a man's reach should exceed his grasp or what's a HEAVEN for?" Was it ROBERT BROWNING? I also, believe in the magical words of BELINDA CARISLE that HEAVEN IS A PLACE ON EARTH. So, someday Matty, baby, someday!! Okay, well, my next review is another great movie from the 1970's. Had never heard 'bout it before, but someone recommended it to me. I won't tell you who, cuz' that's a secret.

Okay, well, SUPER CREEPY TRIPPY WEIRD movie. That 'bout sums it up. I had no idea what to expect. I read 'bout this as being a good movie to watch for its good film acting. It's true, you got good acting. DONALD SUTHERLAND and JULIE CHRISTIE are a husband and wife with a great sex life (watch for the hot sex scene, yeowsie!). I'm not going to tell you much more than that 'cuz I knew nothing and was totally tripped out. They do go to VENICE, which I will tell you. They have the experience of getting lost, which if you have not done, you should it is so amazing and a little scary. Apparently, if you don't get lost in VENICE, you have never been to VENICE. Anyway, the movie just gets plain trippy with a cast of characters that are even trippier. The acting is brilliant. JULIE CHRISTIE has got to be one of the most beautiful women ever! DONALD SUTHERLAND is fantastic and complex. The supporting actors are all excellent. I like the FEEL of this film and the photography is stunning! The story is really good. It was based on a novel, I think. I was in complete shock a few times watching this, which is kind of fun. You'll probably hesitate and go, "nah, not really into watching some weird film from the 70's". Fine, don't, but you'll never know what you're missing! Hee! Hee!
