09/27/06 - Asian and U.K. MICHAEL SCHENKER Fall Tour Confirmed
In spite of the recently cancelled U.S. tour, due to a disagreement with the group's last vocalist, Jari Tiura, Legendary German guitarist Michael Schenker has announced that he will be touring Asia and the U.K. in
November/December. The U.K. tour is expected to commence on November 28. Exact cities and dates are coming soon.
Schenker is out n support of his recently released "Tales of Rock 'n' Roll", a special CD to celebrate the band's 25-year anniversary. The release features a cast of singers who have all recorded with Schenker over the past 25 years, including Graham Bonnet, Gary Barden, Robin McAuley, Kelly Keeling, Leif Sundin, Chris Logan and Jari Tiura. Behind the Guitar and who's who of singers, the disc features UFO's Pete Way on bass and RACER X drummer Jeff Martin on drums.
