09/18/06 - VH1 to Air DEF LEPPARD, HENDRIX, PRIEST, PINK FLOYD Documentary
VH1 "Classic's Album" series will debut on Monday, October 2nd, at 8:00 PM EST with "Elton John: Goodbye Yellow Brick
Road" with additional premiers each night that week to include "Jimi Hendrix: Electric Ladyland", "Pink Floyd: Dark
Side of the Moon", "Judas Priest: British Steel" and "Def Leppard: Hysteria", before moving to its regular Tuesday
night slot on October 10th. The series will be taking a look into the making of some of rock -n- roll's most influential albums.
The Def Leppard special will include a shortened version of the documentary DEF LEPPARD's "Classic Albums: Hysteria" DVD. The release features bandmembers giving a track-by-track look at the making of the album and explaining the stories behind the songs, playing some demo versions and performing some songs.
