10/24/06 - New TOM WAITS Available for Stream on Website:
As previously reported, Tom Waits will release a 3 disc set, titled Orphans, Brawlers, Bawlers and Bastards and starting tomorrow with Brawlers, Anti, Wait's record label will be previewing each of the discs for a week on their website, where fans can hear 30 second
clips from each song. Snippets from Bawlers will stream from Oct. 31-Nov. 6 and Bastards from Nov. 7-Nov. 13. This three week streaming event will be the only opportunity fans will get to preview the array of songs and styles on Orphans before it hits stores on Nov. 21.
The 56-track Orphans includes 30 new recordings, plus two dozen more songs taken from Waits various collaborations with
artists in film, literature, and music equaling over three hours of rare and never-before heard music along with a
94-page booklet.
