10/24/06 - RUDY SARZO's (QUIET RIOT / OZZY / WHITESNAKE) Book, Finally Available
Rudy Sarzo's (ex-QUIET RIOT, OZZY OSBOURNE bassist) book, Off The Rails, is finally available and without a
single change to the manuscript with the exception of the cover and now shortened title. Last year, Sarzo
attempted to release the book, but due to last minute legal implications from the Osbourne's was pulled
from distribution. The 2005 version of the book was titled Off The Rails, My Adventures In The Land Of Ozz, and
featured a picture of Sarzo holding a bass guitar, while the 2006 version
simply named "Off The Rails", and features a live shot of Sarzo wearing an Ozzy Osbourne shirt
According to a posting by Sarzo on a messageboard, the manuscript has not changed. "The Osbourne's disapproval of the book has not influenced me to make a single change from the original manuscript," said Sarzo. Additionally, Sarzo
says that he will be posting photos shortly which didn't make the book on
his website:
