10/20/06 - JACK WHITE on tour with THE RACONTEURS
The Raconteurs, which consist of Jack White (of The White Stripes) - vocals, guitars, keyboards, synthesizers, Brendan Benson - vocals, guitars, keyboards, Jack Lawrence (of The Greenhornes and Blanche) - bass guitar, Patrick Keeler (of The Greenhornes), -drums and Dean Fertita (of The Waxwings) as a live touring member only - guitars,
keyboards are on tour in the UK with a new single, 'Broken Boy Soldiers' to be released on October 23rd.
When asked about the White Stripes, White says "People are assuming that The White Stripes is somehow painful for me, or too great a burden," he explained. "But I love the constrictions of The White Stripes. It really makes my brain do what my brain wants to do." This debunks rumors that he has moved on.
