10/10/06 - Panic! At The Disco Throws a Motley Crue Sized Temper Tantrum
After being denied the use of Motley Crue's circus tent for the months of November and December, Panic! At The Disco's Frontman, Brendon Urie claimed the Crue were "stingy", while
bassist Bassist Jon Walker made additional claims that that the band stole some of Panic!'s performers. The bands drummer, Spencer Smith elaborated, "We took some performers out on the last US tour, and I we heard that some of them are now working for the Motley Crue tour, and they said that the reason they were hired is that one of the crew members from Motley Crue read a review of our show that said we pulled off everything that Motley Crue was trying to do.
Smith went on to say, "When you're like, 50 years old, you can't come up with any good ideas anyway. You've just gotta pay for other people's ideas." Walker did chime in at one point to say, "Hey, I'm not talking trash on Motley Crue, though!"
