10/06/06 - With a New Singer, a New Record and Plans for a Tour; There May be New Life for TNT
Back in June, TNT announced that they were back and bigger than ever with new vocalist Tony Mills. Mills is mostly known for his work with Shy. Tony has worked along side rockers like Cinderella, Dokken, Cozy Powell, Meatloaf and
The Sweet just to name a few. Mills recently issued the following statement on one of TNT 's fan forums:
"We have begun writing a new album, which I have to tell you, handled properly, could be a monster record. TNT certainly have the professionalism to achieve that, shows are being booked across Europe, the band are again a tight and relaxed outfit; a family if you will and the future and longevity of this undeniable team seems to me, undisputable.
Some backing arrangements are already down on tape along with the original melody ideas. Ronni and myself are working both together in Oslo as well as separately in our own countries. As we both have the facility to record, we can make the most of that even when we're not together.
I think we're looking at completing the album in February, to fall in line with playing live for the following twelve months."
