Hidey ho, guys and gals! Today, I gonna talk a lil' bit 'bout moi aka me, for those of you who don't speak FRANCAIS. So, have you ever wondered why I watch so many movies? Do you think that I'm kind of a nerd? Sometimes I feel like the only world that really exists is the world in my imagination and sometimes I just feel so very alone, ya know? I loved LORD OF THE RINGS and I have read OVID, DANTE & HOMER. My favorite artist is VINCENT VAN GOGH (if you have not see his museum in AMSTERDAM, you must). I adore PARIS and VICTOR HUGO (he is quit funny) and I wish I had a big black CHANEL bag. Okay, that's 'nough. This movie review is dedicated to my GRANDMOTHER. Love you, LG.

Well, I had a gig a few months ago and I had to do a little thing with one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen. We had a moment, if you know what I mean, perhaps a few. Anyway, the gorgeous man, whom I will probably never see again, is a cop. So, I decided to check out some cop movies and such to help ease the pain of the end of our brief encounter. So, who better to distract an anguished heart than MARK WAHLBERG in a police outfit, hmmm? So, yeah, good movie. ROBERT DUVALL plays DADDY COP and MARKY MARK his dutiful son cop. Very talented, JOAQUIN PHOENIX plays black sheep son and brother. EVA MENDES is his sexy girlfriend. The story is pretty good, a bit long and sometimes confusing, but the actors pull you through with their talent. Boy, that JOAQUIN is simply mesmerizing. His face can do things that others can't. ROBERT DUVALL is ROBERT DUVALL, always brill. I like the look of this film, too. So, I guess that means good job to the set department. The music is good. This film is definitely one of my faves this year, and it is not just 'cuz it is 'bout cops, it is just a good old fashioned movie with really good acting.
