Mitzi @ the Movies
- Mitzi J. Johnson
Hi folks. Just thought I would work a little today. Frankly, I would rather be sippin' on a cola icee at the lake, but ya know, I gotta pump pages. That's my life. So, let's see I have been hangin' out with my new friend, who shall remain nameless at this point. We have been enjoying the summer. We went out last night for a bit of MU SHU and it was tres lovely. The weather has been perfect. I really couldn't ask for a better life. Well, I would, as I have said before, like a yacht or speed boat. Now, that you mention it, I would just be so happy with a small condo in Florence. I would also like to see my family more, perhaps on my yacht and I would also like an unlimited shopping budget and a travel 'round the world free card. Okay, so, this next film is numero three in my ODE TO SUMMER series. Hint: I would love to be on an island for a few months to a year with this actor!!

Soooo, this just isn't one of LEONARDO's best "acting" moments, but WHO CARES????? I loved this film. It did bore me a bit in the middle and yes, it does try to copy APOCALYPSE NOW, but still, I did enjoy it, plain and simple. The film is based on a book that I haven't read and is set in THAILAND. Who doesn't love THAILAND?? LEONARDO plays a young AMERICAN tourist who meets this creepy druggie guy, who tells him 'bout this SECRET BEACH. The ADVENTURE begins. LEONARDO's character hooks up with a young sexy french couple and they set off to find this SECRET BEACH. It is kind of like LORD OF THE FLIES meets SPRING BREAK. That's 'bout all I can say. It is the perfect summer movie to watch with a nice big tub of buttered popcorn and a cool fizzzy drinkie. So, yeah I gotta go.
