PARIS, JE T'AIME
- Mitzi J. Johnson
Bon Jour darlings, or bon soir as the case may be. No, I am not in France eating cheese on some fab hillside but I am wishin' I was there. I just wanna tell you 'bout the things I Iove 'bout Paris. Ready? K, here I go. I love the ESCARGOT in buttery garlic. I love the cheese and bread. I love the LOUVRE. I love those big, fat NAPOLEONS. I love the cafes, and the shops and hotels and the clothes and the perfume and shall I go on and on, oui, I shall. I love the waiters, and most of all, I love those cute little fried eggs that they put on their not so good cheeseburgers. So, if you haven't guessed, yet, this film is 'bout that wonderful CITY of LIGHTS.

So, check this out! You've got 20 five-minute films 'bout different districts in PARIS all directed by different
directors, written by different writers and performed by different actors. Pretty cool, huh? Just call it a smorgasbord of
fine film making set in one of the most fab cities in the world. There are comedies and dramas and horror, the list
goes on and on and on, well, ya got 20 films. There is a film about a child of mimes, loved this one. The Cohen
Bros did a great one with STEVE BUSCEMI. You get a real taste of the city and you get a sense of what the director
feels for that part of the city. DELIGHTFUL and CREATIVE. Who came up with the idea in the first place is
what I wanna know. I think they should do it in all the great cities of the world. But, then
again, perhaps, that is missing the point; that no city is like the city of Paris. This film is quite a tribute and should
not be missed. Watch with a cafe creme and a pain du chocolat.
Au Revoir,
Mademoiselle Mitzi
