Okay, I had this film in my NETFLIX queue forever, right? So, I get it, finally, I don't remember, why I ordered it, but know I have been waiting for it for a really long time, so, yeah, well , it must be good. So, I sit with my buttered popcorn and sparkling juice drink and pop it in and begin to watch. I am instantly amazed. JAVIER BARDEM with the freaky haircut, I'm beginning to recall the reason why it was in my queue. I keep watching, but the film is beyond good, so I look at the envelope to see who is directing this 'cuz it is better than most films I have seen. And there it is JOEL AND ETHAN COEN, ACADEMY AWARD BEST PICTURE, etc. So, need I say more? This film is amazing. It is as close to watching poetry as you can get. These guys are masters of their medium. JAVIER BARDEM, KELLY MACDONALD, JOSH BROLIN are all really, really good. TOMMMY LEE JONES is magnificent, and really should have gotten an award for this. Beware this film is not for the weak of stomach. Lots of blood and scary moments. I screamed and freaked out a couple of times. JAVIER BARDEM will be giving me nightmares for many years to come. Thanks. Some of the images in this are just mesmerizing. Also, it's set in Texas, and who doesn't just LOVE TEXAS? A work of genius. TESS HARPER is in this, too, who doesn't love her?

Loving you,

MITZI J.
