Bon Jour! I am now in a small village in France eating the most delicious cheese with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE. We are NOT having an affair. We are JUST friends!!! I swear. He says, "Hey!" to all of you movie lovers out there. If you have not seen his delightful video with SCARLETT JOHANSSON, well, you must. He is a doll. Okay, back to business. I
have been waiting forever to see this film and finally, got a chance, and let me tell you, it was definitely worth the wait.

Well, I heard all about this film when I was watching the ACADEMY AWARDS it was nominated for a whole bunch of them, I think. GEORGE CLOONEY plays a burned out corporate lawyer when his colleague played by TOM WILKINSON loses it or does he? And so the Thriller begins. GEORGE CLOONEY is by far one of the handsomest men alive and he can act, too. I love watching him and he has the depth, charm and detachment needed to pull this role off. TILDA SWINTON is a trip, obviously a good performance, she won the ACADEMY AWARD. TOM WILKINSON is always good, this role ain't easy. Who doesn't love seeing SYDNEY POLLACK? Apparently. This is the directorial debut of screen writer, TONY GILROY. Pretty impressive, Mr. GILROY! The look of this film is crisp and and clean. The writing is the same and the scenes are still with a nice layer of underlying tension. There are times where this film seems slow, but it is I think, that's part of what really works in this film. It is unusual and kind of new. I like it. I really think that the main reason to watch this is GEORGE CLOONEY. He has really developed as an actor and carries this film really well. I hope to go on a date with him, someday! GRRRR!
AU REVOIR,
