Well, hmmm, how can I say this without being rude? Dunno. I was a bit disappointed. I loved the RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK, loved it and always will. I think they have been trying to recapture the glory of that amazing film and I think we, as audience members want them to do so. Why, is that? Are we afraid to move on and fall in love with another character or is it that we just can't stand change? Who knows? What I do know is that this was just kinda lame. HARRISON FORD was okay as per usual, though he did seem a bit stiff. CATE BLANCHETT did a good accent and looked really scary. JIM BROADBENT is in this. The special effects are AMAZING!!!! So, why didn't it work? THE STORY!!!! GEORGE LUCAS apparently helped. The story was confusing and never made sense. Now, the CRYSTAL SKULLS were really cool, but if you ain't got a credible story, who cares? There were some funny moments and it was good to see KAREN ALLEN, even though she hasn't changed her hair in many, many years. JOHN HURT is in this film for one second, blink and you miss him. Despite the story being really bad, I did still enjoy parts of the film, due to the fact that I'm a fan. I think the main reason to see it, is that the special effects are simply extraordinary. SPIELBERG plus LUCAS equals the coolest F/X in the world!! There you have it.

Ta Ta,

Mitzi
