Hi there, once again. How wonderful it is to say "HI" and mean it, you know? Things have been quite good, though I'm sad that summer is almost over. I do love to frolic in the sun. What is the weather like in BALI, in the fall, I wonder? So, this next film caught me quite by surprise, I have to say. The star of the film is the most fave actor in all of FRANCE, so, I'm told. Can you guess who it 'tis?

So, I was having coffee one day with a friend of mine who had just returned from spending six months in France. She said that the people in FRANCE love WILL SMITH so tres, tres much. How interesting, huh? Well, I have always enjoyed his work, but frankly never so much , till this film. It is simply, A VERY GOOD MOVIE! I was not expecting it to be this good. I had had it in my queue for quite a while, and perhaps, I was a bit timid. The last film I had seen of his was HITCH, and well, it was okay, ya know? So, I resisted, until I was told, SEE THIS MOVIE NOW! Okay! Okay! Well, I was taken in immediately. I knew nothing 'bout it other than WILL SMITH was in it and that is was good. So, he plays a scientist at the "end of the world". This deadly virus has killed everyone and he survives and is alone, or is he? Good old fashioned thriller with a modern day twist. WILL SMITH was just excellent! The special effects were fab! The story, frankly, was great! It was simple, yet complex. I know, know I sound really smart. Yes, I wear glasses, but only sometimes. so, let's see where was I, Oh, yes, the script. Now, there are a lot of these virusey disaster movies out there and I have seen them all. This one stood out 'cuz it is well written and has a cool action film vibe. WILL SMITH is a great scientist meets action star meets anti-hero. Also, as the title suggests, BOB MARLEY figures into this, too, and well, who doesn't love him?
