EYES OF LAURA MARS
- Mitzi J. Johnson

Hello, darlings! How are you? I am quite well. Just got back from yoga and feel fab. Since I have started doing yoga I have found that I feel ten years younger, and who doesn't love that? There are a few positions that I do not like. I think it is one of the WARRIOR poses that just sucks! I have to remember that I am a beginner and that it is okay, to not know how to do everything. Okay, you wanna talk movies, I know. I am still on a bit of watching movies from the 1970's and this one is a TRIP!!!

I am not going to tell you how old I am, but I will give you a hint. I remember my parents watching this movie. I think my Mom had the soundtrack; she was a BARBARA STREISAND fan. Anyway, I don't think I had ever actually watched it, so when I came across it being mentioned in a magazine, I was like, "Hmmm, need to check this out!" Boy, what a weird film, is what I gotta say! If you have not seen it, you really should. FAYE DUNAWAY is the FAB and SUPER HIP Fashion photographer, LAURA MARS. She starts seeing murders happening through her camera lens. YOUNG and HOT, TOMMY LEE JONES plays the detective, JOHN NEVILLE, who helps her out. FAYE DUNAWAY is awesome. TOMMY LEE JONES is quite sexy. It's great to see BRAD DOURIF. The sets and costumes are spectacular!! The music is great. It's a bit campy but I think that is what makes it cool. I mean, come on, it's the 70's, it's the fashion industry, in the 70's, need I say more. The story is pretty good. I couldn't figure it out until the last moment and who doesn't love that? FAYE DUNAWAY is of course, the main reason to see this film. She is to put it quit frankly, a BAD ASS ACTRESS!! She is simply brill and a great role model for the times, I believe. LOVE HER!!

So long,

Ms. Mitzi Johnson
