It was a meeting of the proverbial monsters in LA recently when Bobby and Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony joined forces with guitarist Neil Zaza for Neil's upcoming solo release. "Michael has played on some of the most important records in rock history," Bobby explains, "so it was great to get in the studio with the guy and lay down some heavy grooves. Obviously, he plays his ass off, and I feel like we captured some real moments. Plus, we all had a blast working together, which is always a bonus." The new Neil Zaza CD is tentatively scheduled for a Spring '06 release and will feature a number of other heavy-hitters. Stay tuned, kids...
